Terms of Use
Ali Madani Studio provides custom design and handweaving services for rugs, tapestries, and decorative textile pieces. Each commission is defined by an individual agreement specifying the design, dimensions, materials (virgin wool, organic cotton), and dyeing methods. We do not offer ready-made products through this site; all pieces are made to order.
To start a project, you submit a request through our contact page. We then discuss the palette, pattern, and texture suitable for your space. The client is responsible for providing accurate information about the intended location and any specific requirements. Once the design and materials are confirmed, we send a detailed proposal with a clear timeline. A written confirmation from the client is required before production begins.
Weaving is a manual process, and each piece passes through several quality checks. Production times vary depending on size, knot density, and complexity of the pattern. We commit to the timeline stated in your proposal and will notify you promptly if any unforeseen delay arises. Final approval of the piece is done before delivery.
We take care to select high-quality natural fibers and dyes. Due to the artisanal nature of our work, slight variations in color and texture are inherent and are not considered defects. Our liability is limited to the value of the commissioned piece. We are not responsible for damages caused by improper use, cleaning, or placement of the textile after delivery.
You may cancel a commission within 7 days of confirming the proposal, provided that weaving has not yet begun. Once production has started, cancellation is only possible with mutual agreement. Changes to the design after confirmation may affect the timeline and are subject to our approval. We reserve the right to update these terms; the version in effect at the time of your order applies.
